Dr. Jerzy Macura and Dr. Danny Sherwinter have helped many Bariatric Surgery patients achieve their goals. Both are Board Certified surgeons with years of experience with clinically obese patients and in minimally invasive surgery techniques.

Program Staff

Program Coordinator - Laura C. Colacino

Laura has been in her position for almost 2 years now, however, she has years of experience helping patients. She is a great help organizing patients' paperwork to get them where they want to be. Always looking for ways to implement new ideas and coordinate events for the center.

Personal Assistant – Roo

Every patient can trust that someone cares about their progress and will help in any way possible to coordinate the sometimes lengthy process of preparing for Bariatric surgery.

Physician Assistant – Elana Gluzman

Elana just joined our team as a physician assistant. She is an invaluable clinical resource, available every day to answer questions and support the patient through the pre-op & post-op experience. Every patient can feel confident that an experienced clinician is available to care for their needs.

Insurance Coordinator - Anna

An experienced and compassionate liaison for the Bariatric patient during the insurance authorization process. Each patient can be confident that she will advocate tirelessly in order to get authorization as quickly as possible.
