Jerzy M. Macura M.D. (Brooklyn, NY)
I'M very impressed with Dr.Macura's expertise. He was very specific with
his explainations. and I Like him. The office staff is great, they are
always very helpful. As far as I know Dr. Macura has the best aftercare
program around. Dr.Macura and his staff ere very honest which I respected.
I think Dr. Macura is the best.

Brooke, good luck with the operation, I am sure everything will go well for
you. Funny isnt it, you were suposed to have had the operation before me
and here we are 3 months later and I went before you. You know me, I
always have to be first and lead the way with everything. If you need any

hi heather - your days away from your surgery - it's going to a wonderful
losing year for you - i'm so excited for you - i remember the night before
my surgery i could not sleep a wink - i was soo ready and could not wait to
start my new life as a bandster..and it has been wonderful - your doing a
great thing for yourself - we are all on this journey together - hugs from

Hi Barbara, thanks for your words of encouragement about the non sex
thing!!! I know that I can wait especially knowing that I'll be a few
pounds lighter!!!! Happy to read that the information made you happy!!! Yes
I know that we have the same doctor and I look forward to finally meeting
him and hopefully you!!! Okay I've become hooked to this site so I'm
usually checking it several times a day. Enjoy and remember to keep your

Barbara, just read your question after visiting WLS site and reading up on
the Pannus (excess skin that hangs over the belly) There was a lot of
information there that can be useful. Use Dr. Macura's link which will
take you to WLS at the top click on Q&A postings, click ask a question, at
the bottom of the page type in your question and submit (search>>>> There
is a great deal of topics and even more answers. Good luck!! --

I am concerned with the excess skin after losing all the weight. I can't
seem to find any message postings concerning this issue. My insurance
doesn't cover plastic surgery (oxford) unless it is medically nessary, I
really don't have extra money to pay this expense. --

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Sounds as if you have to become EXCITED again!!!! Even
though it may seem like the wait is long. Think about all the weight you
are about to lose!!!! I look forward to reading more about your journey.
