I just want to have a healthy life. I want to be able to work with the children and dont feel tired before the school day ends. I am ready to change my life.
I'm 34 years old I've being oveweight since I was 16 years old. I now weight 287 pounds and I am suffering from high blood pressure, back pains, knee problems sleep apnea and some hormonal problems.
My family has hx of diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol. I don't want to go through all that health complications that mom and aunts are suffering from. I must have this surgery to lose the weight for my good. I am tired of hiding and tired of being unhealthy.
I had tried all kinds of diets, soup diet, phen phen, slim fast, herbalife exercise. It didn't matter what I did, I didn't lose I just gained or maintained.
It is hard to explain to my nephews and nieces why aunty can't play baseball or ride bikes or even just go to the beach in the summer time. I always love to dance but when I got heavier I just didn't have the energy. That's why I avoided going out with friends and attending to family functions.
At 34 years old I can't imagine what I would feel like in 20 years.
I heard about the bariatric surgery from a friend. So I started doing my researching for the best solution and I am very happy with my decision.

well today was my first appopintment in the office. I met with Michelle by the way very nice and polite lady. she explained all the procedure with me. she explained detail by detail and step by step. i was so nervous that my blood pressure was so high. The consultation was over. michelle call my PCP and told him that i was on my way because my blood pressure was too high.

Today i went to my PCP I explained to my PCP what i wanted to do. He told me that he wanted to run some test before anything. I guess he wanted to make sure that i meet all the requirement for the surgery. i have another appointment with my PCP next month. Wish me luck guys. I just can't wait.

Well, hello everyone. Today i made a few phone call and made apppointments with the nutritionist, psychologist, cardiology and the sleep center. So that my paperwork get sent in for approval. Please keep me in your Prayers. Thanks and good luck to everyone. I'll keep you posted, till next time.

Good day everyone. i know it has been a long time, i had to cancel all my appointments last mounth due to family emergency. today i went to see my PCP. I am getting a sonogram done, so i had to drink a lots of water for that procedure. Everything went well i guess he is making sure everything is ok with me. I will get my results on monday. i am just so excited about this that time is going so slow to me but everything takes time.

Today i went to the cardiology everything was ok with my beautiful big heart except for my pressure it was a little high and the Dr. recommended for a stress test, so i have to go back on monday for the stress test. The doctor and staffs were all great. I was also schedule for the sleep apnea so i called to see if i could have a phone in the room because i cannot live without a phone. The bad news was that one of the technician had an death in the family so sandy had to reschedule. She asked me if i wouldn't mind rescheduling. know i have to wait i little longer but i guess the wait is worthy. I am just praying that everything to come along very well. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYER BECAUSE I WILL BE DOING THE SAME.

Hello everyone, i am back, this week i went to the cardilogy, psychologist and the nutritionist everything went very well except for my blood pressure was a little high. all my evaluation were cleared just waiting to send the paper work to my insurance and pray that everything work out for the best. wish me luck and keep me in your prayers.
